If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wisconsin you can check out Scout Lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Scout Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Everybody close by loves skiing at Wilmot mountain, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Milwaukee Airport is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. River; a quick trip to Dale Creek is undeniably a brilliant idea. There's so much to do here at Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Creek Estates is a pleasant site for that, and New Berlin Hills Golf Course
is a golf course close by. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Scout Lake has it all. Scout Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a great local campground, and do stop
at Koepmier Lake, it's a stunning lake. While you're here at Scout Lake, you could also stop at stunning Mud Lake, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn & Suites is a splendid site to spend a night or two.

 | 14 miles away Very fun stretch of river, if there is water. The root is best paddled the day after a rainfall. Check the reports, it is not worth your time if the water is below 250cfs. That is the absolute minimum. There are 2 fun waves to surf, 3 in very high water. Bring playboats, this stretch of whitewater is only about 500 yards. Both waves have pretty good washout, there is a small hole on the lower wave, but not bad.... |
