There's so much to do here at Schnur Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Butternut Lake Campground is a magnificent place for that, and an afternoon playing golf at Park Falls Country Club is always a bliss. Just can't get enough of Schnur Lake. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Chippewa River - East Fork, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Park Falls Super 8 Motel, and if you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River -                  South Fork offers some good whitewater. High temperatures at Schnur Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Schnur Lake drop into the-10's.
