Going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Paradise Shores Resort Hotel. Having a great time at Saxton Lake is simple. Lakes are tremendous; Bass Lake is a lake that's close to Saxton Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River. If the weather is fine here at Saxton Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hay Meadow Trail.       Summer brings highs in the 80's to Saxton Lake with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Saxton Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. There's so much to do here at Saxton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northshore Bar and Campground is a perfect location for that, and Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. People                  from Eau Claire love to come to Saxton Lake; skiing at Christie Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. Saxton Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during September; February is the month with the least moisture.
