Sawdys Pond is a great place to camp, Terrace View Campsites is a great place, and a golf course close by is Edgewater Country Club. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do next to Sawdys Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Wisconsin River offers some great whitewater; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Merrill. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on New       Wood River, and if you need a place to stay Lake Mohawkson Cabin is a magnificent choice. Near Sawdys Pond you locate the Bearskin State Park Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Tomahawk Super 8 Motel. Getting to Muskellunge Creek from Sawdys Pond is trouble-free, and camping at Sawdys Pond is great fun, Muskellunge Resort is a great local campground. Bullhead Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. All                  through the warmest time of the year highs here at Sawdys Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 10's; through the dark hours in the winter at Sawdys Pond temperatures dip to the-10's.
