The yearly precipitation here at Sawdys Pond is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in
the 70's to Sawdys Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sawdys Pond temperatures fall to the-10's.

This is a 4-5 hour drive from the n/w side of Chicago . . . and *definately* worth it. Some buddies and I go up for a few days every winter and I have to say, this is the best you're going to find without doubling your driving time or hopping on an airplane....
