Don't forget to take a great little visit to Lawrence Creek; a wonderful nearby hotel is Sandman Motel. Head up to Christmas Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a location to stay Sandman Motel is a fine choice. Just can't get enough of Sandow Lake. A perfect spot to camp here at Sandow Lake is Trails End Campgrounds. Nordic Mountain is a very popular ski       area close by; Lawrence Dam has perfect water scenery. Camping is available at Coon's Deep Lake Campground, and if you get bored of Sandow Lake you could also stop by close by Echo Lake. The warmest time of the year at Sandow Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sandow Lake.
