This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Sandow Lake, for example Echo Lake, and Camp Fairwood is a great local campground. Summertime highs at Sandow Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter       nights at Sandow Lake are in the 0's. The annual rainfall here at Sandow Lake is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center is a good place to get some rest, and hey, Gotta ski right? Christmas Mountain is a pleasant site to do that. Why not camp at Trails End Campgrounds while you're                  here at Sandow Lake, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Nordic Mountain.
