During your trip to Sand Lake you'll meet some people from Iron Mountain for sure, and Sand Lake is a good place to camp, Golden Eagle Park and Campground is a good place. While you're here at Sand Lake you can play some golf at Spread Eagle Golf Course, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine River.
