A visit to Ryan Pond is always a good idea. You simply have to adore Ryan Pond. Cedarberry Inn is a fine site to get some rest, and don't leave Ryan Pond without first going for a hike along the East Bluff Trail. You could also pop by Alder Pond if you're here at Ryan Pond; it's close by, and float down the rapids of Wisconsin River in a kayak. If you come at the right time of year, Baraboo River offers some wonderful whitewater; what would winter be without

Dry warm beds await you at Motel 6 Lake Baraboo, and there are great locations to discover along the East Bluff Woods Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Merry Mac's Camp'n is a good campground here, and going for a hike on the Grottos Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Cascade Mountain.

from Madison here, and if you came for an overnight stay Crystal Lake Campground is a fine spot to camp. All through the warm months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Ryan Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge
down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ryan Pond. A common amount of rain falls here at Ryan Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
