Camping at Birch Grove Campground is always a good experience, and close by you discover the Virgin Pine Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Lake Ruth is a good location of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Lake Ruth during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the       50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Lake Ruth tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Hummingbird Haven is a tremendous choice; golf can be played at Northern Pines Golf Course. Paddling on Bois Brule River is so much fun, and Lake Ruth is not the only spot close by, Bismarck Lake is a close by lake. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really abundant here                  at Lake Ruth. After a long day outdoors Rustic Roost Motel Dining is a great site to spend a night or two.
