All through the months of summer here at Rush Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rush Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sandstone Dam is       a stunning site in close proximity to Rush Lake; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Thunder River. This location is great, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Rush Lake. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you'll discover a delightful lake called Sandstone Reservoir 675. Near Rush Lake you stumble on a golf course called                  Woodland Ridge Golf Course; you get a brilliant sight of Mount Tom from here. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Crivitz Lodge; lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Retcof Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Crossroads Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and the friendly people of Marinette like to hang out nearby.
