Summertime highs at Round Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Round Lake. Round Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest       month is February. Swamps can be such interesting places, go to Otter Creek while you're here at Round Lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Foxfire Golf Club. Chain O' Lakes is a perfect lake near Round Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Foxfire is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Joel is easily seen from Round Lake; getting to Emmons Creek from Round Lake is easy. Lakes are                  such serene places, why not explore Limekiln Lake in close proximity to Round Lake, and Greenwood Forest is a forest that you can go to. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Round Lake has to offer. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Round Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Young Judea, and taking a little tour to close by Brownes Point is a great idea. This lake is so wonderful.
