If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Round Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Chippewa River; Round Lake is not the only spot close by, Boot Lake is a close by lake. The Hay Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Round Lake has to offer, you can camp at Northshore Bar and Campground. Throughout the summertime months here       at Round Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Round Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn Lodge Ladysmith, and Round Lake is a splendid place to camp, Ward's Flambeau Resort is a splendid place. This is a popular place for folks from Eau Claire. Skiing at Christie Mountain                  is one of those things you just have to do, and wonderful hiking is available along the Moonridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; Deer Fly Trail is a splendid local trail, and after a long day outdoors Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two.
