This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Pine Creek Golf Course is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are pleasant; and Pettibone Beach close to Round Lake is no exception, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Midway Hotel is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Round Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through       the winter the highs are generally in the 20's while Round Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. An average amount of rainfall falls at Round Lake; through September this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Round Lake. During your tour to Round Lake you'll meet some people from La Crosse for sure, and                  do stop by Lake Onalaska, it's a beautiful lake. Mount La Crosse is a very popular ski area around here; a nice place to camp here at Round Lake is Pettibone RV Park. A great close by hotel is La Crosse - Days Inn & Conference Center, and you'll hit upon a delightful lake called French Lake. Richmond Bay is not far from Round Lake at all, and Black River Public Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop by.
