This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a perfect location to spend a night or two; why not take a little tour to Loon Creek since you're here. If you get bored of Round Lake, you could also pop by       nearby Long Lake; Round Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Gulden's Yellow River Campgrounds is a perfect spot to camp nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Yellow Lake Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lower Tamarack River. Du Four's Pine Tree Campground is a delightful local campground,                  and Round Lake is not the only site nearby, Hayden Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a great choice, and don't leave Round Lake without first going for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Round Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Round Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
