Rooney Lake is a lake worth visiting. Having a good time at Rooney Lake is easy. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Lake Irwin near Rooney Lake, and Wildman Whitewater Ranch is a good campground nearby. You can run the rapids of Rat River in close proximity to Rooney Lake, and there are great places to discover along the Dendro Eco Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mc Caslin Mountain Campground is a nice site to camp,

| | and a great location for whitewater paddling is Peshtigo River. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Three Little Lakes near Rooney Lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a good spot to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at Rooney Lake is close to the national average; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.

All through the summer highs here at Rooney Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Rooney Lake.

| ...'s Rafting Resort and Campground near Silver Cliff which is located a little over an hour north of Titletown . We had made reservations in advance with Kathy the owner and manager of the resort. She directed us to a beautiful campsite tucked in amongst the hardwoods. We asked in advance about having a campfire during our stay. She mentioned that each site had a large firepit and that firewood was available to purchase upon request. When we arrived early Friday afternoon we were plesantly surprised to find our own personal supply of firewood already delivered to our site. All we needed was to find the matches and the children were busy readying a fire for brats and smores. While the kids prepared the meal the wife and I washed away the miles and stress of the city left behind by enjoying a soaking hot shower in the resorts large shower facility.
