There's so much to do here at Rockland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Melody Park is a pleasant place for that; hiking along the Tamarack View Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Rockland Lake is a location with many visitors from Whitewater, and Alpine Valley is a good local ski area. Going for a hike along the Leather Leaf Bog Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this       region, and White River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at nearby Spring Brook since you're here at Rockland Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wilmot mountain is relatively near. You'll find a beautiful lake called 420 Reservoir near Rockland Lake. Summer at Rockland Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. For the duration of                  the winter highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Rockland Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Rockland Lake is right by the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Brown's Lake Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Pewaukee River. Rockland Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do near Rockland Lake.
