The skiing at Christie Mountain is wonderful, and paddling on Duncan Creek is so much fun. Have a great hiking adventure along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and Rock Lake is a good place to camp, Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a good place. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Loon Lake Camp Grounds,       and since you're here you can take a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. If the weather is perfect here at Rock Lake, you can go for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Eau Claire here. Atwood Lake is a brilliant lake close to Rock Lake, and if you need a place to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a tremendous choice. But wait, there's more to do close to Rock Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Chippewa River, and after                  a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a great spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Rock Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Rock Lake. Rock Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February.
