There's so much to do here at Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grass Lake Marina and RV Park is a great place for that. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Rock Lake. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Grayslake, and great hiking       is available along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. Rock Lake is a site with many visitors from Racine, and as expected Sequoit Creek is a delightful stream that is worth visiting. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Rock Lake. A golf course near Rock Lake is Spring Valley Country Club, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Wilmot mountain. There are nice places to look at along the Tamarack View                  Trail, and paddling on White River is so much fun. Rock Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is perfect at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing), and float down the rapids of Pike River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Very perfect water scenery is available at Rock Lake Dam near Rock Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Old Port Cove Marina. This is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes. Rock Lake 1 is a lake in the vicinity; you can go for a hike on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. Summertime highs at Rock Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
