There's so much to do here at Riley Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Perch Lake Campground is a nice place for that; you can hit the slopes at Ski Brule close at hand. So many enjoyable things to do at Riley Lake, so little time. A lake nearby is Bell Lake; Brule Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Riley Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lauterman Lake Walk-In Campground is a pleasant local campground; there are great                  locations to explore along the Lauterman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're popping by Riley Lake from Iron Mountain, you won't be the only one; if you come at the right time of year, Pine River offers some great whitewater. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good location to spend a night or two, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Pine River. Summer at Riley Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
