Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf River, and lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and Richardson Lake is delightful enough to spend       more than a day at, Ham Lake Camp Grounds is a delightful local campground. High temperatures at Richardson Lake during the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Richardson Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. This spot is peerless, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do near Richardson Lake.
