This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Rice Lake is not the only site close by, Spirit Lake is a close by lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a perfect place in the neighborhood       of Rice Lake. There's so much to do here at Rice Lake that you need to camp here for a while, James N Mcnally Campground is a glorious place for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rice Lake has to offer, you can camp at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds, and a day on the slopes of Wild Mountain is just what you need. During the summer months here at Rice Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer                  temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 10's; overnight lows at Rice Lake through the winter mostly dip into the-10's. If the weather is pleasant here at Rice Lake, you can go for a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and a glorious close by hotel is Best Western Northwoods Lodge. Rice Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be.
