This site rules, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Reton Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Wolf River. Stay the night at Wild West Campground, and there are other places here than Reton Lake, for example Nelsonville       Pond 69. People from Stevens Point love to come to Reton Lake, and Nelsonville Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STEVENS POINT, and Family Frontier Campground is a great campground nearby. The annual precipitation here at Reton Lake is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. High temperatures at Reton Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
