Why not pop by a swamp like Currey Flowage if you're here at Reisinger Lake; close by you stumble on the Markville Snowmobile Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Northwoods Lodge, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on St. Croix River. Throughout the summer at Reisinger Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Reisinger Lake. You don’t have to go far from Reisinger Lake to see the water at Crex Meadows Dam; get covered with water paddling on Kettle River. All the outdoors fun stuff in close proximity to Reisinger Lake will keep you coming back again and again. There is a fine hiking trail near Reisinger Lake called                  the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and camping at Paint Rock Spring Campground is always a glorious experience. If you came to camp Old Logging Trail Campground is a splendid place to do that; if you need a place to stay Luck Country Inn is a great choice.
