A visit to Reed Lake is always a good idea. For the period of the summer months at Reed Lake highs are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Reed Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Reed Lake has to offer. A splendid place to camp here at Reed Lake is Old Logging Trail

| | Campground, and if you need a location to stay Lodge at Crooked Lake is a nice choice. An average amount of precipitation falls at Reed Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop by Monson Lake close to Reed Lake, and Reed Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Paint Rock Spring Campground is a good local campground. | |

There are other locations here than Reed Lake, for example Upper North Fork Flowage; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Lower Tamarack River,
and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Saint Croix National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and while you're here you can take a hike along
the Markville Snowmobile Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on St. Croix River; a wooded region close by is Governor Knowles State Forest.
