If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wisconsin you can check out Reed Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge, and at Crex Meadows Dam near Reed Lake there are some exciting things to see. Camping is available at Paint Rock Spring Campground; after a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place to camp here at Reed Lake is Old Logging Trail Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reed Lake; Markville Snowmobile Trail is a great local trail. National Scenic River is a national park worth taking a look at. Golf can be played at Golf Course, and nice hiking is available along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail.
St. Croix River is a pleasant whitewater spot
close to Reed Lake. Summertime highs at Reed Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 10's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Reed Lake tend to be in the-10's.
