Summertime highs at Reed Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's; night lows at Reed Lake throughout the wintertime regularly plunge into the-10's. Reed Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; through       the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. If you haven’t been to Saint Croix National Scenic River, you should schedule some time for it since you're here; a fine place to camp here at Reed Lake is Old Logging Trail Campground. A splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Northwoods Lodge, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reed Lake; Markville Snowmobile Trail is a perfect local trail. A gorgeous                  lake like Dike 1 Flowage close to Reed Lake is a wonderful spot to stop at, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Kettle River. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Zalensky Pond in the neighborhood of Reed Lake, it's a striking lake, and great hiking is available along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. So many enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Reed Lake, simply amazing. If you need a spot to stay Luck Country Inn is a good choice; why not camp at Paint Rock Spring Campground if you're here at Reed Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
