     Sullivan Lake is a delightful lake in the neighborhood of Red Lake, and Red Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Tyman's Motel and Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do right next door to Red Lake. If you need a place to stay Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a tremendous choice. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not check out Crotty Lake next to Red Lake; there are some good whitewater spots  
   on Eau Claire River. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Fire Hill Golf Club; after a long day outdoors Best Western American Heritage Inn is a tremendous location to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Clearwater Resort and RV Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Totogatic River. High temperatures at Red Lake during the warm months are in the 80's. All through
 
               the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Red Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Red Lake; through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.

This river has nearly 70 miles of river that can be paddled. It goes all the way from the Hayward landing to the Riverside landing after it joins the St Croix River.
