     Red Ike Lake is a nice lake to visit. Red Ike Lake is a good location of common rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year at Red Ike Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Red Ike  
   Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff next to Red Ike Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Marengo River, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail.
Red Ike Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. A lake close by is Delano Lake, and a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Holiday House. This lake is so wonderful.

               is not the only place close by, Hadley Lake is a close by lake, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Gogebic Range. Stay the night at Chippewa River Campground. There's so much to do here at Red Ike Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Day Lake Campground is a great place for that. All year is a glorious time in the Gogebic Range if you go for the outdoors. Why not take a look at close by Torch River if you're here at Red Ike Lake, and Red Ike Creek Dam is not far at all from Red Ike Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling near Red Ike Lake is Chippewa River - East Fork, and going for a hike along the Black Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail

The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail.  It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin.  The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties.  This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad.  There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail.  There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa.  At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.  The restoration is slated for completion in 2011.  ...
