If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wisconsin you can check out Rat Lake. Rat Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is great on Popple River, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Lauterman Trail. A perfect close by hotel is Best Western Lakewood Lodge, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Eds

Paddling on Peshtigo River is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a glorious place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brule Mountain if you're here, and do take a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail.

temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Rat Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Rat Lake has it all. There's so much to
do here at Rat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground is a tremendous site for that, and if you came to camp Burnt Bridge Campground is a great spot to do that.
