At Railroad Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Railroad Lake during the winter typically sink into the-10's. You could also explore Lake Anna if you're here at Railroad Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain. This       lake is so wonderful. Brule River is a wonderful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Railroad Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Iron Mountain Campgrounds is a nice location to camp. So much exciting stuff near Railroad Lake, clearly fantastic. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine River, and you can hit the slopes at Norway Mountain in the neighborhood. Golf can be played at Eagle Mountain Golf Course,                  and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Iron Mountain. Railroad Lake is a good place of common rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
