All our national parks are tremendous sites to go to, and Saint Croix National Scenic River is no exception, and get covered with water paddling on Upper Tamarack River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rahn Lake; Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is a nice local trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Sioux Portage Campground is a delightful place to camp. | | in the 80's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Rahn Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Whitewater paddling is great on Lower Tamarack River, and fine hiking is available along the Markville Snowmobile Trail.

way somebody can get bored here at Rahn Lake. There are other spots here than Rahn Lake, for example Bluff Lake, and Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest. Sioux Portage Creek is a gorgeous stream that
is worth going to, and if you need a place to stay Lodge at Crooked Lake is a fine choice.
Not far from Rahn Lake, you'll stumble on Chase Lake which is a lovely lake, and Yellow Lake Golf Course is a delightful golf course nearby.
