The beauty of Popple Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Chippewa River, and after a long day outdoors Park Inn Chippewa Falls is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Popple Lake called the Deer Fly Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Duncan Creek.

Golf can be played at Lake Wissota Golf Course, and nearby you locate the Hickory Ridge Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Popple Lake. During your tour to Popple Lake you'll meet some folks from Eau Claire for sure, and the Hay Meadow Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. There's so much to do here
at Popple Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Wissota State Park is a brilliant place for that, and the slopes of Christie Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist.
