This lake is so wonderful. Portage Creek is next to Lake Pleasant and is always a joy to stop at, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. You can run the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch in the neighborhood of Lake Pleasant, and       if you need a location to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a wonderful choice. Any time is a wonderful time at Lake Pleasant if you adore the outdoors. A lake close by is Little Donahue Lake. There's so much to do here at Lake Pleasant that you need to camp here for a while, Lac Vieux Desert Campground is a great place for that.
