Good hiking is available along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail, and if you get bored of Lake Pleasant you could also take a look at nearby Bennett Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Pleasant, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lake Pleasant. This lake is so       wonderful. Go for a hike on the Anvil Lake Trail System, and Lac Vieux Desert Campground is a great local campground. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Lake Pleasant. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ontonagon River - Middle Branch; dry warm beds await you at Wild Eagle Lodge. If you need a location to stay Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a brilliant choice; Portage Creek is close to Lake Pleasant and is always a diversion                  to take a look at. If you came for an overnight stay Borderline RV Park and Campground is a splendid place to camp, and Crystal Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There are some fine whitewater spots on Ontonagon River.
