At Pleasant Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Pleasant Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Whitecap Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Three - Chequamegon       National Forest is a glorious site to camp. Potato River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by; after a long day outdoors Hurley Days Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two. Pleasant Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. Whitewater paddling is good on Flambeau River - North Fork, and Fifteen Lake is a fine lake close by. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in close proximity to Pleasant Lake. Take a hike on the Newman Springs                  Ski Trail. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic Range.
