Welch Village

...Piston Bully snow grooming machine has been purchased from Kassbohrer ATV to enable daily grooming of the new, mostly advanced slopes. Construction of the new slopes and equipment is on schedule, aimed at opening Dec. 26, 2008.

Another new quad chairlift is planned for the Back Bowl area, as well as a small ''on the top'' day chalet, hopefully opening for the 2009-10 season.
For the first month after opening, the Back Bowl will only be open to guests who have membership status. For the remainder of the season the new slopes will be open to all qualified guests. Because of the more advanced nature of the new slopes, limitations of use will be needed for guests new to the sport. Mo...
