If you like skiing, you're in luck; Christie Mountain is in the neighborhood of Pine Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Hardwood Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pine Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Pine Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. You could also explore       Bucks Lake 7.7 since you're here at Pine Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Rice Lake. Don't leave Pine Lake without first going for a hike along the Serley Camp Trail; camping at Lured In Lodge & Campground is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, T.P. Resort and Campground is a tremendous local campground; delightful hiking is available along the O'Neil Creek                  Flowage Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Pine Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. Any time is a great time at Pine Lake if you love the outdoors.
