If time allows, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth taking a look at, and get drenched paddling on Apple River. Soar down the rapids of St. Croix River in a kayak; a stunning lake like North Twin Lake is a great spot to go to. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Trollhaugen is just what you need, and Luck Country Inn is a great location to get some rest. Twin Lake near Pike Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pike Lake, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Pike
Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Just can't get enough of Pike Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wild Mountain is near Pike Lake, and Cast-a-way Trailer Park is a wonderful campground nearby.
