Pike Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Stay the night at Brookside Village, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WAUSAU is a nice place to get some rest. Pike Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Some of the water close by flows, like Rice Lake Creek, obviously you could also visit Little Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Pike Lake during the summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
