The yearly rain here at Pike Lake is about average; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. A magnificent close by hotel is Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi; a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Yellow River. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail, and a lake nearby is Cornell Flowage. Throughout the summer months at Pike Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Pike Lake                  night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Any time is a glorious time at Pike Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Moonridge Trail; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Stanley is a fine choice.
