For the period of the long summer days at Pickerel Lakes highs are usually in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Pickerel Lakes overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. Any time is a nice time at Pickerel Lakes if you fancy the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel -       Chetek is a wonderful choice. There's so much to do here at Pickerel Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lured In Lodge & Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Serley Camp Trail, and a day on the slopes of Christie Mountain is just what you need. From a precipitation point of view Pickerel Lakes is a reasonably normal place; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month                  of the year is February. Pickerel Lakes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a tremendous local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pickerel Lakes; O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is a great local trail.
