A visit to Pickerel Lake is always a good idea. Going for a hike along the East Bluff Woods Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Portage is a perfect choice. Very beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Cascade Mountain; if you've had enough of Pickerel Lake, Long Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Baraboo River for all you adrenaline kick people;

are really plentiful here at Pickerel Lake. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Wisconsin River; since you're here you can take a hike along the Grottos Trail. High temperatures at Pickerel Lake through the warmest
time of the year are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Pickerel Lake tend to be in the
0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Silver Lake Beach is close at hand; after a long day outdoors Portage - Days Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at Pickerel
Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Skiing at Devils Head is one of those things you just should do, and Pickerel Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Sky High Camping Resort II is a glorious local campground.
