Why not explore Pewaukee Hi.2 Dam since you're here. Get drenched paddling on Menomonee River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pewaukee Lake has to offer, you can camp at Country View Campground.

During the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pewaukee Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Pewaukee River, and Radisson Hotel Pewaukee is a wonderful place to get some rest. Pewaukee Lake is a good place of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February.

The friendly people of Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis like to hang out nearby. There's so much to do here at Pewaukee Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine woods Campground is a delightful location for that. Just can't
get enough of Pewaukee Lake. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Highlands of Olympia, and an afternoon playing golf at Moor Downs Golf Course is always a pleasure.
