A day on the slopes of Highlands of Olympia is just what you need; there's whitewater on Pewaukee River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at Little Switzerland, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Menomonee River. Golf Course, and Radisson Hotel Pewaukee is a wonderful place to get some rest.
While you're here at Pewaukee Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, and the scenery at Pewaukee Hi.2 Dam is
gorgeous. This lake is so wonderful. Pewaukee Lake is a nice spot to camp, Country View Campground is a nice spot, and dry warm beds await you at Country Springs Hotel. Pewaukee Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month.
