Alpine Valley has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and a scenic lake like Swift Lake is a good spot to take a look at. Hit the slopes at Grand Geneva nearby, and Lauderdale Lakes Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby. So many amusing things to do at Peters Lake, so little time. | | Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Peters Lake through the wintertime generally plunge into the 0's. While you're here at Peters Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Elkhorn is a great location to spend a night or two. Lauderdale Lakes
 | 1 PHOTO Green Lake is not near Lauderdale Lakes, it is the northernmost lake of the three lakes making up Lauderdale Lakes. It is the deepest of the three major basins. The best thing about the lakes is the fishing. Habitat protection is important. Two public launches are available, but the lakes lack any boat rentals. Bait must be purchased and brought along. Panfish and largemouth bass provide the most action. Pike are present and smallmouth bass have been recently stocked. On occasion, a walleye is caught.
