From a rain point of view Peters Lake is a reasonably normal spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Camping at Soo Lake Resort is always a glorious experience, and Gardner Lake is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Flood Creek flows through this area, and       get covered with water paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork. Just can't get enough of Peters Lake. There's always Crowley Dam to have a look at near Peters Lake; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a magnificent choice.
