If you come at the right time of year, St. Croix River offers some magnificent whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn Shell Lake. There's so much to do here at Person Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Adventureland Campground is a great place for that, and for you golfers we recommend close by Black Bear Golf Club. Person       Lake really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Person Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Person Lake, you could also stop at nearby Loon Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Person Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gordon Flowage Campground. Summertime highs at Person Lake generally                  tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
