Bois Brule River is a pleasant whitewater spot near Perch Lake, and the Virgin Pine Trail offers hiking at its best. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you need a place to stay Hayward Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Birch Grove Campground, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course       like Northern Pines Golf Course. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Perch Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Perch Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. There are other places here than Perch Lake, for example Peterson Lake, and there's delightful hiking along the Pigeon Lake Trail. Perch Lake is a good                  spot of normal rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
