Pensaukee Lakes is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Fawn Lake Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; there are some good whitewater spots on Wolf River. White Clay Lake Lodge is a great local campground; a delightful close by hotel is Settle Inn and Suites Shawano. After a long day outdoors Kiryat Hotel is a fine site to spend a night or two; if you come at the right time       of year, Oconto River - North Branch offers some great whitewater. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Pensaukee Lakes has to offer. You could also visit White Clay Lake since you're here at Pensaukee Lakes; it's close by.
