If you are traveling by, why not stop by Pelican Lake. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best, and a glorious nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Phillips. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Pelican Lake, just astonishing. There's whitewater on Chippewa River - East Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and Bay Spring is an inspiring place to stop by while here.

Gates Lake is a pleasant lake in close proximity to Pelican Lake, and if you need a place to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a good choice. The yearly rain here at Pelican Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. So much amusing stuff to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time.

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Day Lake Campground is a wonderful site to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Lake Trail. High temperatures at Pelican Lake through the long summer
days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pelican Lake are in the 0's. Camping is available at Butternut Lake Campground; why not take a little visit to Rocky Run since you're here.
