Hay Meadow Creek flows through this neighborhood; do take a hike on the Anvil Lake Trail System. Pat Shay Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Sevenmile Lake Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby; going for a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Dry warm beds await       you at Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River, and golf can be played at Big Stone Golf & Country Club. After a long day outdoors Wild Eagle Lodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Kimball Creek Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Brule Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Echo Lake. Through the warm days                  of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Pat Shay Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 10's while Pat Shay Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
