A great close       by hotel is Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center. Park Lake is a brilliant lake near Park Lake 56, and Cascade Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. At Park Lake 56 during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Park Lake 56 plunge into the 0's.
