You'll need more than a day to discover everything Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thornapple River Campground; there are other places here than Park Lake, for example Dairyland Reservoir. Stay the night at West Cove Lanes, and soar down the rapids of Flambeau River in a kayak. Going for a hike on the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail is always a wonderful adventure; not far from Park Lake you'll come across Dairyland Reservoir 1928 which is a charming lake. Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. At Park Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs
are in the 10's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Park Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Very scenic scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Christie Mountain, and Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a great spot to get some rest.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 14 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
