There are some splendid whitewater spots on Pemebonwon - South Branch, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Beecher Lake is       just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Papoose Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Papoose Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Papoose Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is a load already, but it                  carries on; Papoose Lake has it all. You could also visit Beecher Lake if you're here at Papoose Lake; it's close by, and you can hit the slopes at Norway Mountain in the vicinity.
